According to presidential spokesperson,Reuben
Abati,President Obama called president Jonathan last
night to commend him for ensuring peaceful elecions
in Nigeria..The US president had earlier released a
statement to that effect..
The Presidents of S/Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Archbishop of
Canterbury and others also called President Jonathan
to hail him for his statesmanship,
Meanwhile the hashtag #Gejismyhero was trending on
twitter all through last night ,as Nigrians spelt out
reasons why the president is their hero..
